Who are we?
Winterhol Books is a trade name of Omar Boulakhrif, based in Haarlem, the Netherlands. Questions about privacy? Email winterholboeken@hotmail.com. We reply within 30 days.
We don’t ask for your data
You don’t have to fill in anything on this website: no name, no email address, no account. Purchases are made through Amazon, where Amazon’s privacy rules apply.
Visitor statistics
The website is hosted by Vercel. To see how many people visit the site and which pages they view, we use Vercel Web Analytics. It works without cookies and does not track you across other websites; we only see counted visits that cannot be traced back to you. To show the right language, the server looks at your browser’s language setting and, if that is not Dutch, at the country you are visiting from (derived from your IP address). Neither is stored.
One cookie: your language choice
If you choose the Dutch or English site yourself, we remember that in a cookie named "taal" (valid for one year). This cookie is needed for the site to work properly and contains nothing else about you. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Third-party content
The site contains no embeds from third parties such as YouTube, Instagram or TikTok, and no advertising networks or trackers. The video and song are served from our own website. Links to Amazon, TikTok or Instagram only take you there when you click them; from then on, the privacy rules of that platform apply.
How long we keep data
Server and analytics logs are kept for a short time and then deleted automatically. We keep nothing longer than needed to run the site and to see how many people visit it.
Changes to this statement
If the site starts collecting data in the future, for example through a mailing list, we will expand this statement and update the date at the top. The most recent version is always the one on this page.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. To do so, email winterholboeken@hotmail.com. If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
